How I can Change the World

One way I hope to change the is to show the world Jesus. I want to impact the world with Jesus. I want the world to see Jesus through me. I want to let my light shine. Whether I do this through my school or my career, I hope to change the world for Jesus.

That is one of the things that is pushing me to become a professional athlete. I would love to show Jesus to the world through the way I play the sport and the way I act when I'm not playing. I want to be like Kurt Warner, or Michael Strahan, two good athletes who are christians. They show Jesus when they do press conferences and things like that.

However, I would hope to be even more active for Christ in my sports. I would talk about Him every single time I was interviewed or given the chance to speak. I really believe that I could lead people to Christ. Not just the fans, but my teammates, coaches, trainers, sponsors, and managers. The more famous people that know Christ, the better. They have so many fans looking up to them. Those fans would see God through them.

How I Can Change the World.....

I can change the world by just being me. One spark starts a fire. I can change the world by doing what God has intended me to do. I don't need to be afraid of what others think of me. God's judgment is the only one I should care about. He looks at the heart, not the outward appearance. I need to be able to stand up for what I believe without hesitation, and in any situation. I can change the world by being an influence to others. Whether I like it or not, people are always watching me to see what I do. What I do doesn't just affect me, it affects everyone around me. I need to base my life on God's standards and believe that God will use me to change the world. I need to do everything for the glory of God. I could accomplish many goals, but if they were for self-centered reasons and not to glorify God, none of them mean anything. I also need to be able to accept guidance and direction when i make mistakes. I can't change the world alone. I also need to make the right choices, but sometimes the choices we don't make are just as important as the ones we do make. ~~~SG

I can change the world by living out what I believe. If Christians lived out what they profess about God, just imagine what our world would be like! If I just started to live out my faith, God would be glorified. If Christians lived out what they believe, God would be glorified. By our actions and the Holy Spirit, people would put their faith in God. Our whole existence would be to glorify God, just as it was meant to be in the beginning. Perfect and walking closely with God. That is how I can change the world. - JB

How I can change the World...

I don't think I can change the world, not by myself. If I try I am sure to fail, no doubt there. I am not good enough to do anything right. I am a horrible person, if I were to try to do anything, for myself, to make me famous, and end up changing the world, it would probably be changed for the worse. That is why I am waiting. I need Christ to tell me, "How can WE change the world?" so that I may call out to Him and say, "Here I am! Bend me for Your will, I will do as You ask." I must wait for the calling, but when it comes, I can, with God's help, change the world. Whether it be something a subtle link in a chain reaction, a single stroke in the big picture, by simply giving money to someone on the street, or giving food to a family that needs it, or just telling someone about Christ. It can also be a blazing fire in the darkness, the whole picture, by stopping nuclear war, stopping global warming by making the world more energy efficient, or being a famous missionary or even a martyr like Nate Saint and his friends. Whether it be big or small, when the call comes I will answer.

There are many ways someone could change the world. I want to change the world by impacting one person at a time. Some people preach to thousands of people and change many lives. I want to help someone and change them one at a time. I want to be someone people can rely on and know I will always try to help them. I want change the one person who thinks no one cares about them. I don't want to change lots of people at once but change little things. I want to help someone in the same way other people have helped me. Just letting someone know they are important and you care about them. I want to change the people that are not seen as important as others. Some people want to impact the world at once and that's great. Some people are great at changing things all at once. But that isn't how i want to change the world. I want to personally know the people I change so I can help them through their hard times.

As a Christian I can change the world by letting the light of Jesus shine through me. Someone who is not a Christian could be influenced by my actions and come to know Christ as their savior and then they could tell others about Him as well. Jesus is the only one that can truly change the world. So by bringing others to Him, I can feel as if I've had an impact on the changing of the world.

Drinking and Texting then Car Crashes, Oh My!

A man and his friend once left a party to pick up another one of their friends, but they were drunk. The man's car was violently crashed into a tree, resulting in the death of his best friend. While car crashes are tragic, they are caused by simple things. Some of these causes are texting and talking on the phone while driving, not following road regulations, and driving while drunk.

Many people like to text and talk on their cell phones while driving. Talking on the phone can put your mind on other things rather than driving. Texting is also a hazard to road safety while driving because it can take your eyes away from the road. These are some of the ways that using phones while driving can cause car crashes.

Car crashes are also caused by not following road regulations. For instance, breaking the speed limit can cause you to lose control of your vehicle and crash. Passing illegally is another example of not following road regulations which can lead to a collision with another unsuspecting vehicle. Also, running red lights and stop signs may not result in only one car crash, but many. Disregarding road regulations not only leads to car crashes, it is also breaking the law.

Drunk driving can cause car wrecks that kill many people. Both teens and adults sometimes drive while they are intoxicated, whether they were drinking legally or not. When you are drunk while driving you are not in your right mind, which can place you and others in situations that could jeopardize many lives. Drunk driving is a major factor in car accidents everywhere.

In conclusion, texting, not following the rules, and drunk driving are all part of unnecessary accidents in today's society. They distract people from the road while driving. Following rules and concentrating on the road will prevent many car wrecks in the future.

The Gift of True Love

One day a stranger died for me... did He die for you? The stranger's name was Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus loves us so much that He died for us. Since he died for us we can be forgiven of our sins, we can possess the Holy Spirit, and we may inherit eternal life in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

The first consequence of accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior is that we are redeemed of our sins. This means that as long as we ask for forgiveness of our sins from God and repent, we will be forgiven. Another privilege of the crucifixion is that we can openly talk to God whenever we want. One way to talk to God is through prayer, another is through singing.

Secondly, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts and lives within us. When we have the Holy Spirit in our hearts, He guides us in making the right decisions and in prayer. He replaces our sinful conscience with one that come from God.

Lastly, when we die, if we have Jesus in our hearts we will go to heaven and live forever. Over and over, everyday we will never cease to praise God for all eternity. This opportunity is available to everyone, but only those who accept Christ will experience it.

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth

in Him shall not parish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) In conclusion, Jesus loves us so much that He gave His life for us, and that is an example of true love.

I am what I am. I am a student, a sister, and a daughter. I am what I am. I am joy and confusion. I am stubborn, but willing to go the extra mile. I am what I am. I am a meat eater, I am green, I am caring towards many things. I am what I am. I am cautious and strong on the outside, but frail and scared on the inside. I am ready for whatever is thrown my way, but a little scared of what the present might bring in the future. I am what I am. I am unsure sometimes about people but accepting in the end. I am what I am. I am a christian a follower of Jesus. I am a friend to those who need someone to hold them up. I am what I am. I am a scared fourteen year old who tries her hardest to be a leader. I am what I am. I'm a 15 year old, I blow out candles on December 19th. I have a wonderful family who means the world to me and the best friends I could ever ask for. I am what I am. I am a Christian and God is my #1 hero. I love music. I am what I am I am bold,loving and love animals, I love going to the beach and walking on the beach at night. I am what I am I'm not perfect I'm far away from it. I have made many mistakes yet I still haven't given up. I can't wait till I leave home yet I am nervous about what the future has for me!

There are six main traits found in the best essays, stories, and reports. If you write with these in mind, you and your readers will be happy with the results. Use these traits to evaluate your writing.

These traits are:

Stimulating ideas-Good writing is interesting; it holds a reader's attention from start to finish. Writing that contains good ideas shows that a writer knows a lot about his or her subject.

Logical Organization- Good writing is well organized. It has a clearly developed beginning, middle, and ending, and each main point is carefully explained with examples and details. In short, good writing is easy too follow.

Engaging Voice- In the best writing, you can hear the writer's voice. Voice is the special way a writer expresses ideas and feelings; it reveals the writer's personality. A strong personal voice shows that a writer really cares about his or her work.

Original Word Choice-Good writing contains the best words. It includes vivid verbs, specific nouns, and colorful modifiers.

Effective Sentence Style- Effective writing flows smoothly from sentence to sentence. Smooth sentences make writing enjoyable to read. Writers often vary sentence beginnings and lengths to give their writing a pleasing rhythm.

Correct, Accurate Copy- Good writing follows the basic standards of punctuation, mechanics, usage, and spelling. It is edited with care to be sure that it is accurate and easy to follow.
